 Great Portable Hard Drive case April 19, 2010

I purchased the CaseCrown Double Memory Foam case aobut 6 months ago and have been very pleased with it. It stores my Western Digital 250 GB portable hardrive and USB cable securely and safely. The left side has a separate pocket to hold the USB cable, further protecting the harddrive. I could probably gently toss this case and feel the drive would be safe. This is a winner and I am pleased with my purchase.

It works. You put the drive in one side, the cable in the other, zip it up and go. Fun!
And it looks nice, too.

This is a great case for my new freeagent go. It's soft and lined on the inside and very durable and stiff on the outside. The one I got was exactly as shown on the product page. High quality stiching, construction and zipper. The fit is so perfect, it seems made for freeagent go. I'm suprised that the price is so low because I have a crappy case (I won't mention the name of the major brand) which cost more. Am very happy with this case. Again, the one sent to me was a good quality black synthetic leather on the outside just like the picture.

I agree with other reviewers. Case fits WD 400gb drive just right. Outside is more like a cordura material. Memory foam was a smart choice for the manufacturer. The case is no bigger than it needs to be and the memory foam gives me piece of mind.
Well constructed. Highly recommended!

I have a 320 GB Seagate Freeagent Go and it fits securely (even perfectly!) between the stretchable strap and the memory foam. I tried out various cases in person at Best Buy and all the other cases (similar to the selection here in Amazon) usually have cases that don't have foam inside and allow the portable hard drive to slide around (depending on if it's a tad wider than the drive), and this bothered me. So, I knew that, if possible, I'd like to get a case that is secure and would provide great protection for my hard drive and this is THE ONE.
I'm very satisfied with CaseCrown. Although the case itself is not a hard case, with a hard drive inside the case maintains its structural integrity, provides more than sufficient protection, and the foam gives me peace of mind in the event that I may drop the case. I'm the type of person who is always on the move and having a case that can protect my hard drive and withstand the rough jumbling around in my bag during transport makes me really happy. It has a very sturdy feel and the zipper (2 of them) can meet and form an overlapping slot for a mini padlock for more security. The outer material is made of a synthetic material that looks like it can guard against any accidental liquid spills (not at all the faux leather the picture lead me to believe). All in all a very attractive and professional looking case. Great deal, indeed.
Now I wish this exact case was offered in more colors other than black.
